Mankato Clinic Honored at UCare’s “Salute to Excellence!”
MANKATO (Oct. 19, 2021) ─ UCare held its 13th annual “A Salute to Excellence!” event virtually on Sept. 30, to recognize 18 clinics and care systems with top results in 2020 Healthcare Effectiveness Data and Information Set (HEDIS) measures – including preventive care, disease management, behavioral health, maternity care, care transitions and medication management. Mankato Clinic was honored for improving the health of UCare members enrolled in Special Needs BasicCare (SNBC) and PMAP/MinnesotaCare plans.
“We are proud to be recognized for improving the health of UCare members. We are very focused on improving our quality of care measures and more importantly the health of our patients. Achieving this award was truly a team effort,” said Randy Farrow, Mankato Clinic CEO.
This year’s A Salute to Excellence! was hosted online, with more than 50 healthcare clinicians and staff in attendance. The evening opened with remarks from UCare President and CEO Mark Traynor. UCare Senior Vice President and Chief Medical Officer Julia Joseph-Di Caprio, MD, honored guests with UCare Excellence in Health Care Awards for their quality results.
