To support organizations that share its mission, the Mankato Clinic Foundation has approved $32, 000 in grants to 12 deserving organizations within the area during quarter three.

Receiving grants for quarter three are: Miracle League of North Mankato ($3,564); Horn of Africa Aid and Rehabilitation Action Network ($5,000); Mankato Curling Club ($1,000); House of Hope ($1,500); Washington Elementary PTO ($1,000); YWCA Mankato ($5,000); PACT Ministries ($3,000); City of Mapleton Park Board ($5,000); Mankato Area Public Schools Project Lead The Way ($2,500); Friends of Learning ($1,500); Lake Crystal Wellcome Memorial Elementary School ($2,500); and Waterville Area Youth Football ($500).

Mankato Clinic physicians provide the majority of the foundation funding as a way to give back to the community by providing support to organizations which strive to improve health and wellness in the communities they serve. Since 2007, the Mankato Clinic Foundation has provided more than $1.4 million in scholarships and grants to worthwhile organizations, programs and projects.

The 12 organizations that received quarter three funding are living out the foundation’s mission with the work they do and the Mankato Clinic Foundation is proud to support them.

Grants are awarded on a quarterly basis and are considered through an application process. More information and applications can be found at www.mankatoclinic.com/Mankato-clinic-foundation. The next grant application deadline is September 1, 2018.
