To support organizations that share its mission, the Mankato Clinic Foundation has approved $24,500 in grants to seven deserving organizations within the area during quarter four.

Receiving grants for quarter four are: VINE Mind Academy ($5,000); Minnesota River Area Agency on Aging – Singing Hills Chorus ($4,000); Arts Center of Saint Peter ($2,000); Connections Shelter ($5,000); #growMANkato ($1,000); Junior Achievement of Greater Mankato ($1,500); and Jonathan Zierdt Cancer Fund ($6,000 annually for five years).

Mankato Clinic physicians provide the majority of the foundation funding as a way to give back to the community by providing support to organizations which strive to improve health and wellness in the communities they serve. Since 2007, the Mankato Clinic Foundation has provided more than $1.4 million in scholarships and grants to worthwhile organizations, programs and projects.

The seven organizations that received quarter four funding are living out the foundation’s mission with the work they do and the Mankato Clinic Foundation is proud to support them.

Grants are awarded on a quarterly basis and are considered through an application process. More information and applications can be found at www.mankatoclinic.com/Mankato-clinic-foundation. The next grant application deadline is December 1, 2018 and March 1, 2019.
