January 5, 2026 (MANKATO) — Mankato Clinic has named Aaron Johnson as chief executive officer to lead the locally and physician-owned medical clinic that has served this region for 110 years.

Johnson brings more than 18 years of healthcare leadership to the role, with a strong background in strategic growth, financial management and operations. Most recently, he served as CEO of Twin Cities Orthopedics, Infinite Health Collaborative (i-Health) and Revo Health.

“We are thrilled to welcome Aaron Johnson as our CEO,” said Dr. Katie Thompson, Mankato Clinic family medicine physician and vice-chairperson of the Board of Directors. “Aaron brings thoughtful, steady leadership and a genuine commitment to putting patients and families first. As an independently owned and locally led clinic, our focus remains on what matters most—strong relationships, deeper roots in our community, and high-quality care close to home.”

As CEO, Johnson will oversee all operations and strategic initiatives, with a focus on high-quality patient care, long-term sustainability, and meeting the healthcare needs of the region.

“It is an honor to join the Mankato Clinic,” said Johnson. “I am inspired by the teamwork of physicians, practitioners, frontline staff, and those working behind the scenes, who are dedicated to delivering the best care to our patients. I look forward to leading the organization and continuing our legacy of high-quality care and being an employer of choice.”

Johnson earned his Master of Healthcare Administration from the University of Minnesota, School of Public Health, Minneapolis, and his Bachelor of Arts in biology from Saint John’s University, Collegeville.

Johnson joined Mankato Clinic on December 1, 2025, to work alongside CEO Randy Farrow, who retired on January 2, 2026, after 17 years of service.
