Dr. Carlson’s clinical interests include minimally invasive surgeries including laparoscopic hysterectomies and vNOTES hysterectomies and procedures. vNOTES is a surgical method that offers women a faster recovery with less pain and no visible scars.

In her free time Dr. Carlson enjoys spending time with her family, being outdoors, hiking, swimming, camping, and traveling. “While I love to visit new places and to meet new people, I love having my hometown of Mankato to come home to. I am really happy to be practicing medicine in the area and to be around friends and family.”
