What to Expect at Your Hearing Evaluation
- The audiologist will bring you back to the testing suite to review brief questions related to your ear health, your general health, and your lifestyle.
- The audiologist will start the assessment by first looking into your ears to examine your ear canal and eardrum. A series of tests that include listening to soft tones and repeating words will be performed on each ear separately.
- You will find out the level of hearing loss, if any, immediately following the assessment. The audiologist will discuss recommendations based on those results, your listening needs and lifestyle.
