He performs a range of general surgical operations, usually focused on areas and organs of the skin, breast, chest, and abdomen. Dr. Huisken may utilize open surgical or minimally invasive/laparoscopic surgical techniques. He retired from Air Force in 2019 after 28 years of active duty as an Air Force surgeon.
