Mischa is a native Minnesotan, originally from the Twin Cities. In her free time, Mischa enjoys playing ukulele, knitting, spending time with family, playing with her dog and cat, and learning new things. She had done fMRI research on trauma disorders before joining the Mankato Clinic, and she is passionate about all things related to trauma, the brain, and neurobiology.

Expertise & Clinical Interests

She specializes in treating adult survivors of trauma (especially complex/developmental trauma and adverse childhood experiences), dissociative disorders, and those with problems regulating their emotions. She works with her patients to identify and achieve their therapy goals, incorporating modalities such as Internal Family Systems (IFS), Somatic/Experiential therapies, Dialectical-Behavioral Therapy (DBT) skills, Neurofeedback, and other techniques, as needed. She also enjoys working with the LGBTQIA+ community and those with diverse cultural and family backgrounds.
