Elissa Karels, a native of Mapleton, joined the Mankato Clinic in January 2024.

Elissa enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters, outdoor family activities, listening to audiobooks, cooking, and traveling. She is also on the board of directors for Lasting Imprint, a non-profit organization that aims to support children with congenital heart defect and their families.

Elissa's clinical interests include preventive medicine, chronic disease management, women’s health, pediatrics, cardiovascular health, and sleep medicine. She also completes DOT physicals.
