If you are having a child, whether it’s your first or your third, it is easy to feel overwhelmed by questions, fears and just not knowing what to expect. The more you know, the more confident and relaxed you will be. That’s why we offer a wide variety of classes to help you prepare for childbirth and bringing your new baby home.

Prepared Childbirth Class (2 – Week Session)

Designed for First Time Moms

This class is designed for first-time parents who want information on preparing for their child’s birth. It is recommended that you and your support person attend this class during the last three months of your pregnancy.

  • physical and emotional preparation for labor and deliver
  • relaxation/breathing techniques
  • comfort measures and positioning
  • understanding the support person’s role
  • current medical care available during labor and delivery
  • C-sections
  • recovery after delivery

Car Seat Safety Classes (One Session)

Research shows more than 80 percent of children in car seats are incorrectly restrained and eight out of ten children who need booster seats don’t use them.
One of the most important jobs you have as a parent is to keep your child safe while riding in a car. But with so many car seats and booster seats on the market and the lengthy instructions that come with them, you may find yourself overwhelmed.
