Mankato Clinic names Waldorf native Brandon Janike as chief financial officer

Former Revo Health executive returns home to help strengthen local healthcare across southern Minnesota

June 1, 2026 (MANKATO, Minn.) — Brandon Janike, who grew up on a family farm near Waldorf, Minn., has been named chief financial officer of Mankato Clinic, returning to southern Minnesota to help lead one of the region’s largest independent, physician-owned healthcare organizations.

Janike joins Mankato Clinic after serving as vice president of revenue cycle at Revo Health, a Twin Cities-based management services organization supporting more than 25 independent clinics across the Midwest. Throughout his career with Revo Health and Twin Cities Orthopedics, he built extensive experience in healthcare finance, operations, and strategic leadership.

Raised in Waseca County, Janike understands firsthand how important trusted, local care can be for families living in rural communities.

“I am passionate about physician-owned healthcare and the role local clinics play in keeping communities strong,” Janike said. “Returning home to join Mankato Clinic is an opportunity to help protect and strengthen care across southern Minnesota while building on an incredible legacy that has served patients and families for generations.”

Janike earned a bachelor’s degree in athletic training from Minnesota State University, Mankato, before completing a master’s degree in healthcare administration from the University of Minnesota School of Public Health.

Early in his career, Janike interned under current Mankato Clinic CEO Aaron Johnson while working within the Twin Cities Orthopedics and Revo Health organization, creating what Johnson describes as a full-circle moment for both leaders.

“When I first met Brandon, it was clear he had the character, humility, and work ethic to become an exceptional leader,” Johnson said. “Over the years, I’ve watched him earn the trust of the people around him, navigate complex challenges, and lead with a steady approach that puts relationships first. Bringing someone like Brandon back to southern Minnesota and to Mankato Clinic is incredibly meaningful for our organization, our staff, and the future of local health care in this region.”

For Janike, the opportunity is also personal.

Mankato Clinic has been part of his life since the very beginning. He was born under the care of retired obstetrician Dr. Mark Taylor, later saw retired pediatrician Dr. Donald Putzier, and continued receiving care through the clinic growing up in southern Minnesota.

Now, years later, he returns not as a patient, but as part of the leadership team, helping guide the organization forward.

As many rural communities face growing uncertainty around healthcare access, Janike believes independent, physician-owned organizations like Mankato Clinic play a critical role in keeping services close to home.
