We offer primary and specialty care with more than 175 providers and nearly 700 employees located across 13 sites in 4 communities, including Mankato, North Mankato, St. Peter, Maple ton. I joined Mankato Clinic after completing my residency and fellowship in 2005. Working in a multi-specialty clinic with access to primary care and various specialists to collaborate with, and the small town community, desire to stay in the Midwest, and the friendly and competent colleagues were all factors that aligned perfectly. It was an easy decision to make. I can’t ask for a better practice setting and have been very happy working here. I am thankful for the support I have in the clinic from nursing and office staff. This certainly enables me to focus on patient care. I have had great support in navigating changes in the healthcare field and am able to manage my time effectively.

Why I love Mankato: Mankato has been a great place to raise my children. They were able to try out various extracurricular activities.Mankato has also been a great place for my personal and professional growth. I am proud to have taken up running. As a bonus, I do not need to spend a lot of time driving, due to the size of the town and light traffic.

As a family medicine physician, I enjoy seeing people of all ages and all medical conditions. I am passionate about treating women’s health, anxiety/depression, and pediatrics. I joined the Mankato Clinic because I was looking for a physician-owned practice that would treat physicians like part of the team. I liked the culture of the clinic, was impressed by the people here – from my fellow physicians to support staff, nurses, information technology, electronic health records and so many others. I stay at the Mankato Clinic because I love it. Honestly, I enjoy my work, my colleagues, and being part of the team. I think the team truly feels like a family. I have autonomy and flexibility in my day. I have excellent support from our specialists. I love the community engagement that the clinic participates in and the pride we all have in our organization.

Family Medicine

For more than 13 years, I have practiced internal medicine at the Mankato Clinic, where I focus on prevention, diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of adult health issues. I chose to join the Mankato Clinic due to its excellent reputation and the fact that it’s physician owned. As a physician in a multi-specialty clinic, I can work with a team of healthcare professionals to provide high-quality care in a collaborative work environment. I enjoy positive working relationships with colleagues and staff at the clinic. There are also opportunities to take on leadership roles.

Work-Life balance is very important to me. Mankato Clinic has offered a work-life balance that aligns with my personal and family needs, allowing me to enjoy both my professional and personal life. I am happy to live and work in a medium-sized town with a high quality of life. Getting involved in the local community, whether through volunteer work, community outreach, or advocacy, has created a strong sense of attachment to the clinic and the area.
