Daniels Health Center
Mankato Clinic at Daniels Health Center is named to honor one of St. Peter’s first physicians, Dr. Asa Wilder Daniels. In 1861, Dr. Daniels took root and settled in St. Peter, tending and caring for patients in the community and surrounding area with unflinching devotion and compassion.
As a frontier surgeon, Dr. Daniels was a staunch advocate and friend of the Dakota Indians, treating thousands alongside his pioneer neighbors. He ushered in a new era of treating patients with dignity and compassion by being the first surgeon to use chloroform in surgery northwest of the Mississippi River.
From a small country doctor’s office, Dr. Daniels medical practice branched out to provide a wide spectrum of health care services. His legacy lives on through the Mankato Clinic at Daniels Health Center of caring for patients with compassion and experience.

The Mankato Clinic @ Daniels Health Center is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
