Mankato Clinic Providers are Playing at Children’s Museum of Southern MN

Mankato Clinic providers are playing at the Children’s Museum of Southern Minnesota’s A Healthy Me exhibit in August. 

Erin Gonzalez, RD, LD, is scheduled 9-11 a.m. Wednesday, August 28. Gonzalez is a registered and licensed dietitian in the Mankato Clinic Diabetes and Nutrition Education Center.

Children are invited to come and play, talk, laugh and learn with Erin. A Healthy Me is a hands-on exhibit which includes a doctor’s office, operation game, a giant sneezing nose, and giant teeth to brush. Young visitors can wear white coats and perform surgery, do check-ups on dolls and view x-rays. Families can also learn more about well-being, emotions and healthy choices.  A Healthy Me is a fun and active way for children to learn about wellness as well as health care. 

A Healthy Me exhibit ends September 30 at the Children’s Museum of Southern Minnesota, 224 Lamm Street, Mankato. Admission is $8 per person, 1 year and older. Visit www.cmsouthernmn.org.
