Born in Canada, Dr. Stephen Marchuk received his medical degree from the University of Western Ontario in London Ontario Canada. He completed his general surgery residency and a fellowship in peripheral vascular surgery at the same university. He then practiced for 9 years in Stratford Ontario before working in Northeastern Minnesota for 15 years. Joining the Mankato clinic in June 2010 as a general surgeon he has a special interest in peripheral vascular surgery and biliary tract surgery. He is certified in general surgery by The Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
