Dr. Penny J. Swanson is a Burnsville, Minnesota native and joined the Mankato Clinic in 2004. She received her medical degree from the University of Minnesota, Medical School, Minneapolis, MN. Dr. Swanson completed an internship at the Hospital of St. Raphael in New Haven, Connecticut and a residency at the University of Minnesota in Ophthalmology. Dr. Swanson’s clinical interests include cataract and refractive surgerys and pediatric eye exams. She enjoys reading, golf, and spending time with her family. Dr. Swanson is board certified in Opthalmology.
