A native of Gaylord, MN,  Marlene Jilek joined the Mankato Clinic in 1990. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Gustavus Adolphus College in St. Peter, Minnesota and her Pediatric Nurse Practitioner Certificate from the College of St. Catherine, St. Paul, Minnesota. She also obtained a Master of Science in Nursing from Minnesota State University, Mankato.
