Mankato Clinic Infusion Center- located in the Oncology Department

We know that infusion therapy is vital in the treatment of a variety of diseases and conditions. We work with local and non-local referring physicians in the
tri-state area to provide outpatient therapy to hundreds of patients every month.

We offer a comprehensive range of services, including:
-Nursing Care
-Patient Assessment
-Treatment plan development
-Patient and caregiver education
-Clinical monitoring
-Care of long-term central lines, including flushing, cap changes and site dressing change as needed. This includes, but is not limited to, peripherally inserted central catheters (PICC), implanted ports, and Hickman catheters.
-Intravenous medication infusions as prescribed for a wide variety of diseases and other therapies

The Infusion Center is staffed with experienced, registered nurses specializing in intravenous treatments, vascular access care and chemotherapy care, including side effect management. The nurses are certified and highly skilled in providing various types of infusion therapies. This ensures that patients will experience the highest quality of care. The infusion room is designed to have an open, comfortable atmosphere with the option of privacy for every patient. Each patient has their own cable television and oversized reclining treatment chairs to use during their visit.
