Mankato Clinic OB Services Expanded to St. Peter

Starting this week, Mankato Clinic physicians are providing obstetric (OB) services (labor, delivery, recovery and postpartum) at the St. Peter Community Hospital. The Hospital unexpectedly lost its ability to offer OB services at the beginning of the year. Through this new partnership, Mankato Clinic physicians -- including Dr. Kevin Gilder, Dr. Carla Goerish, Dr. Steve Penkhus, Dr. Mark Peterson and Dr. Mark Taylor ñ have agreed to provide 24-hours/day, seven days/week on-call care at the St. Peter Community Hospital. Additionally, as an effort to provide a broader continuum of OB care in St. Peter, OB physicians will also provide both pre-natal and obstetric outpatient services at Daniels Health Center beginning March 7. Services currently provided at Daniels Health Center include family practice, pediatrics, and dermatology.
