Mankato Clinic Announces New Chief Medical Officer
Mark Matthias, M.D. has been hired as the new Chief Medical Officer for Mankato Clinic. Matthias, a family practice physician, was previously Medical Director of Hutchinson Medical Center (HMC). From 1995-2002 he served as Head of Physician Recruitment for HMC and was Chief of Staff for Hutchinson Area Health Care from 1997-1999. Matthias has been practicing medicine since 1989 and received both his undergraduate and medical degrees from the

Matthias is the second physician to serve as Chief Medical Officer for the Mankato Clinic following the retirement of Byron C. McGregor, who is retiring after working as Medical Director since 1994.
