Scheels and Trek Team Up to Raise Funds for Breast Cancer Research

Scheels and Trek have teamed together to raise money for breast cancer research. Scheels will be holding a Trek Breast Cancer Awareness Ride (no drop, ride at your own pace), 10 or 25 mile, 10 a.m. on October 13. The 10-mile ride will utilize in-town trails, with the 25-mile ride on surrounding rural paved roads. The ride includes a $25 entrance fee with 100 percent of the fee donated to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.  To obtain more information and to register for the event go to www.bcar2007.santu.com or stop at Scheels or any Mankato Clinic location for an event flyer. Participants should arrive at the Scheels parking lot between 9:30 and 10:00 a.m. for refreshments and check in. Same-day registration is also available.
