Mankato Clinic brings full-time allergist to the region
With the addition of full-time Allergist/Immunologist, Srinivasan Ramanuja, M.D., the Mankato Clinic has opened a new Allergy Department at Wickersham Health Campus. The Mankato Clinic is excited to bring the communities it serves the only Allergy and Immunology specialist in Greater Mankato, providing care for asthma, allergies, immunology, contact dermatitis, hives, and angioedema.

Dr. Ramanuja received his Bachelor’s Degree summa cum laude from Illinois Wesleyan University in 1996, and received his medical degree from the University of Illinois Chicago College of Medicine in 2000. Dr. Ramanuja completed his internal medicine internship and residency at Indiana University School of Medicine, Indianapolis in 2003, and worked as Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine for Indiana University Medical Group from 2003 to 2005. He received specialized fellowship training in allergy and clinical immunology at the University of California School of Medicine, Irvine from 2005-2007.
Dr. Ramanuja has published several articles in the field of allergy/immunology and has presented results of research at several national and international meetings. “Having allergic rhinitis (commonly known as hay fever) since childhood and friends with asthma, I realize how allergies and asthma can impact a person’s quality of life. I am eager to help improve the quality of life of those with allergies and asthma in the Greater Mankato region,” says Dr. Ramanuja. Dr. Ramanuja is board certified in Internal Medicine and board eligible in Allergy/Immunology.
