Description

The Clinic is seeking a Chief Medical Officer (CMO) who will be responsible for the clinical leadership of the organization. This individual will lead the Clinics Care Management Team in advancing and implementing world-class medical care while ensuring that high quality services are delivered to patients. The Chief Medical Officer reports directly to the Chief Executive Officer and is a non-voting member of the Board of Directors. The CMO serves with the CEO and CFO as members of the Senior Executive Team.

Requirements

 Minimum qualifications include being a Board Certified physician, with increasingly responsible experience in a medical leadership position, preferably in a multi-specialty clinic setting. An advanced degree, MBA, MHA, MPH, JD is preferred but not required. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities, exceptional communication skills, and organizational savvy to navigate between various internal customer groups. In addition, the CMO should demonstrate strong organizational and conflict management skills and be able to lead organizational change initiatives through to successful implementation. The CMO, as a member of the Executive Team, is expected to assist in shaping and implementing the Clinics strategy for enhancing the way in which health care is provided and delivered.
