Depending on the results of your hearing test, Mankato Clinic Audiologist’s will offer you practical suggestions so that the effects of hearing impairment are reduced.
If your hearing test results indicate that you are a candidate for amplification, your audiologist will recommend a hearing aid or amplification system best suited for your type of hearing loss. The audiologist will also help you understand what a hearing aid can and cannot do. Hearing aids can be purchased through the Mankato Clinic with complete follow-up care provided after the fitting.
If results indicate the need for medical intervention, a referral will be made to one of our physicians. Our audiologists work closely with Mankato Clinic’s Ear, Nose and Throat Physicians (Otolaryngologists) to provide a full range of medical services to hearing impaired individuals.
